MARKETSPOT Pop Up Shops
MarketSpot held an indoor annual Winter market, over the holiday season from 2014-2016.
In 2017, our Winter Event was a Pop Up Shop in Southcentre Mall, featuring nearly 70 local businesses. This was a widely popular Shop, and was back by popular demand for Mother's Day weekend 2018.
The success of these pop ups led Marketspot to open a 6mo pop up shop at the Core Mall from Aug 2018-Jan 2019, and a second location at Cross Iron Mills in Nov-Dec 2018. Marketspot Chinook Mall was open from April 2019-April 2020 and we were back at Cross Iron Mills for the 2020-2021 holiday season!

Our Market Mall location has been our longest running pop up shop, from Oct 2019. Come visit us across from LensCrafters!
Community Events ​
MarketSpot hosted weekend markets on 17th avenue in Tomkins Park in 2015 & 2016. In 2016, MarketSpot introduced a weekday program from wednesdays-fridays which included free classes daily; art, dance, fitness, kids programs and more.

Marketspot worked with Buds of Buds, the City of Calgary, and Bridgeland Riverside Community Centre in July 2018 to create the Sundown Social event. This event featured local music, interactive public art and a marketplace of local artisan vendors.
Spring & Summer 2022 we are thrilled to partner with University District to bring a series of night markets to the neighbourhood! Find us the last Wednesday of every month from May- Sept, 5-9pm beside Village Ice Cream.
Canada Day Block Party

MarketSpot held a massive outdoor party on Canada Day, featuring nearly 100 vendors, 2 live music stages, food trucks, kid's activities and more, from 2014-2019.

Marketspot's Canada Day events took place at Eau Claire Market from 2014-2017, then moved to Max Bell Arena.

At this time, we are not planning any more Canada day events, but we thank everyone who contributed to to past events and cherish the memories!
